BEVERLY HILLS, January 22, (THEWILL) – Less than a year after they started dating, Mariah Carey and her Australian billionaire boyfriend, James Parker are engaged.
The Australian businessman reportedly popped the question at a private dinner with friends and family in New York City on Thursday.
The engagement ring, according to reports is a 35-carat diamond ring.
This would be Mariah’s third marriage, following unions and subsequent breakups with Tommy Mottola and Nick Cannon, whom she has 4-year old twins with. Technically, Nick and Mariah are still married since their divorce hasn’t been finalized yet.
Packer has also been married twice before with 3 kids.
Well…the third time’s the charm right?
