May 22, (THEWILL) – Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has revealed that marrying his better half, Chioma Avril Rowland, is the best decision he has ever made.
The talented music act made this known in an interview with TheBeat ATL, a radio station in Atlanta.
While praising her culinary skill, the singer added that his wife is like an extension of him and a good match.
Davido also revealed that he has known her for almost 20 years.
“Me and my wife, we grew up together. Basically, we went to school together.
“We met in school and we are just so used to each other. She is like a part of me.
“You definitely have to get somebody that understands you. And, with me and my wife, we are just perfect. There is nothing that she does that is crazy. It is just a good match.
“First year in college, I met her. Best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve known her for almost 20 years, she is a good cook,” he stated.
The duo met at Babcock University, however, their relationship came to light after Davido dedicated a song titled ‘Assurance’ to her in 2018.
In September 2019, the singer announced their engagement and they got married in 2022.
