July 19, (THEWILL) – EA Sports revealed on Monday that PSG player, Kylian Mbappe and Chelsea attacker, Sam Kerr, will be the faces of FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition.

For the third year in a row, Mbappé will represent the brand, and Kerr will be the first female soccer player to appear on the game’s international cover.

The 23-year-old Mbappé, who assisted France in winning the World Cup in 2018, took the scoring lead in Ligue 1 for the fourth time in 2021/2022 and has 33 goals in his UEFA Champions League career.

In the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 calendars, Kerr, the captain of the Australian national side, led Chelsea to back-to-back league and FA Cup victories while also taking home the FA WSL Golden Boot.

After failing to come to an agreement to extend their contract, FIFA and EA Sports confirmed in May that their cooperation would expire in 2022, with FIFA 23 serving as the series’ final instalment.
