May 20, (THEWILL) – Brentford handed Tottenham Hotspur a significant blow in their disappointing campaign as they secured a fine 3-1 victory at their London rivals.
Harry Kane opened the scoring early on, giving Spurs a promising start in their pursuit of Europa League football. However, Bryan Mbeumo’s quickfire brace turned the tables for Brentford in the second half before Yoane Wissa sealed the victory late on, leaving Tottenham with their 14th defeat of the English Premier League season.
