February 27, (THEWILL) – Motunrayo Kuti, daughter of late legendary Afrobeat singer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti’ has married, Juwon Bakare, her partner of seven years.
The beautiful woman shared a video of her wedding which took place at Kalakuta Museum, Ikeja on Friday on her Instagram handle.
In one of her posts, she stated that she did not expect that her wedding would take so long.
“See me oooo, Mrs M. A .K Juwon Bakare. For my entire life I never knew it will take this long, but God never disappoint. I love my husband but most importantly, my husband loves me and adores me. It’s official ooo.”
In an earlier post, she also detailed her experience with Bakare in the past seven years.
According to her, the two have not engaged in any fight for three years of been together.
“Me and this man never get quarrel in 3yrs plus, no fight no nothing for 3yrs straight years after almost 7yrs of being together. This union is ordinained no one can tell me otherwise.”
The wedding ceremony was attended by top celebrities including Femi and Yeni Kuti.
Motunrayo is the CEO of Ifeniomous Entertainment, a record label she named after her daughter.
