July 09, (THEWILL) – Rave of the moment artiste, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, aka Kizz Daniel, has apologised to fans for arriving late for his US concert.
The singer was billed to perform at a concert in the United States, but showed up for his show late.
Enraged concertgoers screamed for a “refund”, booing the singer on stage when he eventually turned up hours later.
In a statement released on Saturday, the 28-year-old pleaded with the fans, explaining the reason behind his lateness.
He said his passport was withheld at the US Consulate in Nigeria, hence flights booked prior were cancelled.
He also promised to make it up to them by scheduling another show, adding that their old tickets remain valid.
“DMV, thank you for showing up last night, and sincere apologies for all that happened. For some reasons, my passport was withheld at the US consulate in Nigeria until the day of the show”, he wrote.
Kizz Daniel is currently on a tour of ten cities in the United States.
