April 08, (THEWILL) – Napoli could see the return of striker Victor Osimhen in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg against Milan on Wednesday, according to coach Luciano Spalletti.
Osimhen has scored an impressive 25 goals in 29 games for Napoli this season but was sidelined by a thigh injury while playing for Nigeria during last month’s international break, causing him to miss the team’s 4-0 loss to Milan last Sunday.
Despite Osimhen’s continued absence, Napoli bounced back from their losys with a 2-1 win at Lecce on Friday, inching closer to their first Scudetto in three decades.
