January 17, (THEWILL) – Popular music act, Samuel Oguachuba, also known as Samklef has blamed the Nigeria movie industry, Nollywood for all the ritual killings among young people in the country.
This revelation was made as a result of the high rate of ritual killing among young people in the country. The artiste stated in a tweet on social media that by constantly promoting fetish themed content, the movie industry has influenced a lot of young people.
He added that producers should do better and not just concentrate on juju or religion themed movies.
“Igbo Nollywood, English and Yoruba movie are the reason why a lot of young boys are doing rituals. They keep promoting fetish stuff in all their movies. Nigeria movie producers can do better. Everything must not be based on juju or religion”
