August 29, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo, has bagged an honorary doctorate degree in arts and culture from the ISCG University in Benin Republic.
The actor disclosed this on his Instagram account on Sunday as he uploaded pictures of himself adorned in an academic gown.
Ekubo also appreciated the Governing Council of the university, Institut Superieur de Communication et de Gestion, for the gesture.
“Introducing, Dr. Alexx Ekubo. Thanks to the governing council of the Institut Supérieur de Communication et de Geston (ISCG UNIVERSITY) for conferring on me a doctorate (honorary) degree in arts & culture,” he wrote.
THEWILL writes that this development is coming days after Fancy Acholonu, his fiancée, cancelled their engagement about three months before their wedding.
The estranged lovers got engaged in May, with their traditional and white wedding fixed for November.
The film star is yet to react to the news of their separation as of the time of this report.
