November 18, (THEWILL) – It’s raining millions for Nigerian-American singer, songwriter, and record producer, David Adedeji Adeleke more popularly known as Davido as his bank account hasn’t stopped beeping since he asked his friends to each send him N1m in appreciation of his generosity to them in time past.
Davido, who got a brand new 2021 Rolls Royce Cullinan earlier this year, went on his official Twitter account to solicit for funds from friends and fans for his vehicle clearance. The funds has since accumulated to more than 155 million naira and still counting as the singer posted proof of his account being credited and the celebrities, prominent Nigerians, companies, who have all sent him money.
Below are some of the contributors:
HRM Oba Saheed Adenuga Elegushi above the list as he contributed the highest with 5 million naira; and singer MC Galaxy sent 3 million naira. Others are Phyno, Mayorkun, Fireboy, Teni the entertainer, Focalistic, Peruzzi, Ckay, Toke Makinwa, Bella Shmurda, Rema, Nengi Hampson, Eniola Badmus, Larry Gaga, Fuji musician Pasuma, Poco lee, Zlatan Ibile, Adekunle Gold, Mr Eazi, , Chike, Cubana Chiefpriest, Peruzzi, Naira Marley, M.I. This is also not leaving out business moguls such as Obi Cubana, Femi Otedola, Ned Okonkwo, Emeka Okonkwo aka E-Money as well as Davido’s first baby mama Sophia Momodu, Don Jazzy, Patoranking. Also, a member of the House of Representatives, Akin Alabi, companies like Travelbeta 2 million naira while Munch IT and Wema Bank contributed one million naira. And clubs weren’t left out on that list as W Bar Lounge sent in over a million naira while Zorya Club, Truth Beach Club sent in theirs as well.
