June 22, (THEWILL) – Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhem, made a heartwarming visit to his old school in Oregun, Lagos, to spend some time with the staff and students.
After completing a successful season in Naples and fulfilling his international duties with the national team, Osimhen returned to his hometown and the community where he grew up. During his visit to Olusosun, he reunited with old friends, engaged with the local community, and brought smiles to the faces of the students at the community school he visited.
The talented striker, who has garnered interest from top clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United, proudly shared images of the visit on his social media platforms, expressing gratitude and affection for his community. In one social media post, Osimhen showed the level of his appreciation, writing: “Oregun!!! Thank You For The Warm Welcome, I sincerely Appreciate All The Love And Support!”
Born in Lagos and raised in Ojota, the former LOSC Lille star began his football journey in Nigeria before representing his country in the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in 2015, where he emerged as the tournament’s top scorer and helped Nigeria lift the trophy.
