Patience Says No Ex-First Lady Has Been Harrased Like Her, Seeks Intervention Of Reps

SAN FRANCISCO, July 06, (THEWILL) – Wife of former president Goodluck Jonathan, Patience has urged the House of Representatives to call the security agencies “harassing her” to order, pointing out that no former first lady has faced the kind of harassment she has been subjected to.

A lawmaker from Rivers state, Gogo Bright, presented the petition by the former First Lady to the Green Chambers during Thursday’s plenary.

Bright appealed to his colleagues to wade into the matter and call the security agencies to order in view of the sacrifices made by the immediate past President for the country

According to him, “No former first lady has been harassed like this before.

“But for the sacrifices that her husband has made for the country, the house should consider and call the security agencies to order.”

Meanwhile, this petition came a day after an ad hoc committee of the House probing the OPL 245 Malabu Oil scandal resolved to invite Patience’s husband to appear before it to give an account on his role in the controversial Malabu oil deal.
