June 10, (THEWILL) – American rapper, Kanye West, has been slammed with a lawsuit over a picture he used to troll a Vogue editor.
Vogue editor, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, was trolled by the rapper last year after she called his ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt dangerous and irresponsible.
He posted a picture of her and stated that she was not a fashionable person.
According to TMZ, the picture West used was snapped by a professional photographer, Michaela Efford.
Efford sued West for using her work without permission. She revealed that she snapped Gabriella’s in September and West used the picture on his social media about 1 week after snapping it without her permission.
She added that West has deprived her ability to market and make money off the snapshot.
The photographer is seeking an unspecified amount from the rapper.
