June 01, (THEWILL) – Iconic actor, Sergio Calderón, known for his role in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ and ‘Men In Black’ has died at the age of 77 in Los Angeles.
According to his family, Calderón died on Thursday morning, surrounded by his family.
He died of natural cause, but he had earlier been hospitalised with pneumonia.
The Mexican actor had appeared in over 40 Hollywood films.
One of his well-known performances was as Captain Vallenueva in the 2007 film, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 3’, ‘At World’s End’, in which he co-starred with Johnny Depp.
