Kolo Muani

January 17, (THEWILL) – Juventus manager, Thiago Motta, confirmed on Friday that Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani will join the Italian club on loan until the end of the season, pending final documentation.

The 26-year-old France international could feature in Saturday’s Serie A match against AC Milan.

During Friday’s press conference, Motta stated, “I am happy with the arrival of Kolo Muani.

“We are just waiting for some final pieces of paperwork to complete the transfer. If everything goes to plan, he will be with us tomorrow, otherwise, we will have him from the next match.”

The French striker, who remains part of Didier Deschamps’ national team setup, experienced limited opportunities under PSG manager Luis Enrique this season.

Despite scoring twice in the opening three matches, Kolo Muani started only two league games during the current campaign.

Juventus received additional positive news regarding striker Dusan Vlahovic who returns to the squad following a brief absence.

“Vlahovic will be with the group tomorrow, he has trained well over the last few days,” Motta confirmed.

The Turin club’s recent form presents concerns, with just one victory in their previous eight league fixtures.

Their last three matches ended in draws, yet they maintain fifth position in Serie A, holding a three-point advantage over their upcoming opponents, AC Milan.

Addressing the significance of Saturday’s fixture, Motta emphasised the importance of maintaining Champions League qualification prospects.

He stated, “We want to stay within the Champions League zone.

“Tomorrow we have an important opportunity to play at home against Milan. Tomorrow the championship will not end but we need to be at the maximum: focused, motivated, to put in a great performance to get the victory.”
