November 24, (THEWILL) – A Nollywood actor, Clem Ohameze, has asked Nigerians to pray for him as he prepares to undergo surgery.
Ohameze disclosed this in a now-viral clip where he talked about his health challenges. According to him, his health issues began after he had a car accident some time ago.
The film star also stated that after the accident, he visited a hospital where an x-ray was conducted to ascertain the extent of the injury sustained.
He stated that the result of the x-ray showed that his “cervical vertebrae 3 had collapsed on the 4th, thereby causing pressure on my spinal cord and the retardment of the lower limb”.
Ohameze stated that he was treated for a while and he got better but he noticed that he started having difficulty walking later.
He stated that after undergoing a further scan, he was told that he would have to undergo a procedural surgery to separate the cervical vertebrae three from four and free the spinal cord permanently.
“After they showed me the procedure and how it’s been done, I was scared. I was told that they are going to cut open the neck and physically separate the cervical vertebrae three from four and then use an iron plate to plate it with some screws so it can remain permanent,” he said.
“It was scary but I have no choice. I seriously need people’s thoughts and prayers as I go in for this procedural surgery.”
