
SAN FRANCISCO, June 17, (THEWILL) – Nollywood star, Toyin Adegbola, has stated that castration is the best punishment to halt the increase in rape cases in Nigeria.
The actress, who stated this while featuring in a radio programme in Ibadan, stressed that if serious punitive measures are put in place against rapists, it will reduce the number of rape cases in the country.
Adegbola also enjoined parents to establish closer ties especially with their female children and they should not shy away from sex education.
She used herself as a case study stressing that it was the love she had for her kids that made her not to get married again since the death of her husband twenty years ago.
