February 19, (THEWILL) – Manchester United maintained their unbeaten streak at home on Sunday, with a convincing 3-0 victory over Leicester City.
Marcus Rashford continued his excellent scoring form, while Jadon Sancho also found the back of the net after coming on in the second half. However, it was Leicester that started the match the stronger of the two, with Harvey Barnes coming close to opening the scoring, only to be denied by David de Gea’s outstretched arm.

In the second half, United’s Erik ten Hag made a tactical change, bringing on Sancho and shifting Rashford to the left wing. The move paid off, with Rashford scoring his second goal of the game before Sancho added a third. Leicester failed to mount a comeback and will be looking to bounce back when they host Arsenal on Saturday.
The result puts United three points behind second-placed Manchester City and five points behind the Gunners at the top of the standings. United will face Barcelona in a crucial Europa League tie at Old Trafford before taking on Newcastle at Wembley.
