Barcelona Femeni

April 30, (THEWILL) – Barcelona Femeni’s allocation of 9,625 tickets for the UEFA Women’s Champions League Final against Lyon on May 25, sold out in just 30 minutes, on Tuesday. The club opened sales exclusively to members via the Infosocis channel, but the original allotment governed by the Spanish Football Federation was rapidly snapped up.

UEFA had initially provided 9,000 tickets to each finalist, with Barcelona dividing theirs as 7,400 for fans, 250 for animation groups, and 1,350 for the club’s commitments per its statutes. An additional 2,617 tickets released by Lyon were then secured by Barcelona supporters before sales opened.

Following standard procedure, 85% of tickets were made available to different supporter groups and the general public. However, such was the incredible demand that the entire allocation of 9,625 tickets sold out within half an hour of going on sale.

With thousands of fans, including club members, left empty-handed, Barcelona has now applied to UEFA requesting additional tickets be made available for the San Mamés final in Bilbao. The club states it will keep supporters informed of any developments.
