August 04, (THEWILL) – Bayern Munich have put forward a club-record bid of €100 million for Tottenham striker, Harry Kane.
The England captain has been at the top of Bayern’s wishlist throughout the summer transfer window, leading to face-to-face discussions between the two clubs in London. While Spurs have been reluctant to sell their star player, pressure from the club’s hierarchy, particularly Chairman Daniel Levy, has urged them to consider the offer to avoid losing Kane on a free transfer in 2024.
Bayern’s third bid marks a significant increase from their initial attempts, but whether a deal will be struck remains uncertain, as Tottenham has been steadfast in their desire to retain Kane, even hoping to negotiate a new contract during Ange Postecoglou’s debut season as manager.
