June 25, (THEWILL) – Barbadian singer and business mogul, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, has stepped down as the Chief Executive Officer of her lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty, which was founded in 2018.
The singer has handed over to Hillary Super, a former CEO at Anthropologie Group, to take up her role starting from June 26.
The mother of one, who is also expecting another baby, will hold a leadership role as executive chair of the lingerie business.
“​​It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years.
“This is just the beginning for us, and we’re going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer. I’m so grateful and excited to welcome Hillary Super as our new CEO, she is a strong leader and is focused on taking the business to an even higher level,” the singer stated after stepping down.
Rihanna is stepping down to allow her to balance her professional responsibility and also to allow her time for her family, especially as she is expecting another child with her partner, Rakim Athelaston Mayers, professionally known as A$AP Rocky.
