May 28, (THEWILL) – Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, has stated that May, the first wife of Yul Edochie, is the legally recognised wife by the family.
The thespian took to her Instagram page to make this known while sharing the family’s stance on Yul’s marital drama.
Rita has been throwing her weight behind May since her marital challenge started. May’s marital challenge started after her husband took Judy Austin, as his second wife and welcomed a child with her.
May and Yul lost their first son, Kambilichukwu, a few weeks ago, but despite losing their child, Yul and Austin have been posting loved-up pictures on their social media platforms.
Defending May, Rita, wife of legendary actor, Pete Edochie’s younger brother, Tony Edochie, called Austin a side chic and added that May would laugh last.
“My darling daughter, Queen May Yul Edochie, you were married legally, traditionally and church wedding by Yul Edochie and that is the reason you are the only legit, verified, and known wife of Yul Edochie. Fully recognised by the entire family of the Edochies.
“All those fighting you with that side chic, they have God almighty to contend with. Their game will soon be over,” she wrote.
