May 09, (THEWILL) – Al-Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo had a frustrating afternoon as his team was held to a 1-1 draw, and things got overly frustrating after the final whistle when a member of the Al-Khaleej staff attempted to take a selfie with him.
The 38-year-old Portuguese star was having none of it and forcefully pushed the staff of the opposing team out of the way to continue on his way to the dressing room.
Ronaldo has not had the easiest of times since moving to Saudi Arabia from Manchester United, and his team now find themselves two points behind league leaders Al-Ittihad with a match in hand in the Saudi Pro League. Next up for Ronaldo and Al-Nassr is a match against Al-Ta’ee next Tuesday, a team currently in seventh place.
Ronaldo’s excessive desire to win has often been responsible for frustrating actions. THEWILL recalls that in September 2022, he was charged by the England Football Association after he appeared to smash a fan’s phone on the ground in a fixture played in April, where United lost to Everton.
