August 04, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actor, Obinna Nwafor, also known as Saint Obi, will be laid to rest on Friday, August 18, in his hometown, Umuezealaeze, Alaenyi Ogwa, in Imo State.
His burial arrangement was announced in a flyer released by the late icon’s family.
Saint Obi passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023, at the age of 57 after battling a protracted ailment.
However, the Actors Guild of Nigeria is yet to make an official statement about the movie star’s death due to an alleged family disagreement.
Before his demise, he reportedly relocated to Jos, the Plateau State capital, to stay with his siblings for the treatment of the ailment that kept him in and out of the hospital for over two years.
