BEVERLY HILLS, September 20, (THEWILL) – Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Saturday showed some of his football skills when he received Barcelona FC and Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala.
Sanwo-Olu took to his official Twitter handle to share photos from the striker’s visit at the government house which had in attendance some of his political associates.
“Today, @AsisatOshoala paid me a courtesy visit. She is a worthy ambassador of Lagos from Ikorodu & we are proud of her,” he wrote
“She spoke about her plans for the Asisat Oshoala Foundation and I promised to support her. We kicked the ball for a bit and I think I still have my skills.”
THEWILL reports that Oshoala is a four-time time CAF women’s player of the year.
