June 12, (THEWILL) – Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, the lawmaker representing Cross River North Senatorial District, is set to receive the 2025 Hero of Democracy Award.
THE BEAGLE NEWS has announced Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe as the recipient of its maiden 2025 Hero of Democracy award in Cross River State. The award recognises outstanding commitment to democratic values and impactful public service.
According to the newspaper’s Editor-in-Chief, Dr Judex O. Okoro, and Executive Editor, Dr Anthony Bassey Ekpo, Senator Jarigbe was chosen for his “resolute defence of democratic principles,” “remarkable contributions to human capital development,” and “numerous empowerment initiatives.” These efforts have uplifted lives, particularly in the Cross River North Senatorial District.
The award is part of THE BEAGLE NEWS’ effort to highlight exemplary leadership and encourage democratic consolidation in Nigeria. Senator Jarigbe, representing Cross River North in the National Assembly, has been commended for his grassroots-oriented approach to legislation and advocacy.
