March 03, (THEWILL) – Lazio claimed a 2-1 victory against AC Milan at the San Siro on Sunday, with Pedro converting a last-minute penalty to claim the win despite Samuel Chukwueze’s equaliser for the home side.
The dramatic triumph moved the Roman club into the Serie A top four, representing their seventh win from their previous 11 away fixtures in the Italian top flight and strengthening their UEFA Champions League qualification prospects.
The visitors established their attacking intentions from the outset, with Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan forced into action to deny Boulaye Dia inside three minutes.
