SAN FRANCISCO, May 06, (THEWILL) – It is not news that fans have been on singers and Pepsi ambassadors, Seyi Shay and Tiwa Savage’s case for a while now in a case perceived rivalry.
Seyi Shay’s comments during an interview on ChannelsTV’s ‘Rubbing Minds’ where she said she didn’t know Tiwa “personally” further sparked the outrage of Tiwa’s fans.
Perhaps in retaliation, Tiwa Savage during a recent interview on radio station Urban96FM’s ‘Urban Superstar Top 10’ refused to comment when questioned about Seyi Shay and instead praised Davido for his new Pepsi endorsement deal.
A heartbroken Seyi then took to Instagram to share a screenshot of excerpts from the interview which she captioned “yikes” with a broken heart and crying emojis.
As expected, fans had a field day with her post with many taking sides in what was immediately perceived to be beef. (Like we need more right now)
However, few hours ago, Seyi bowed to pressure and took down the post but not before throwing another shade Tiwa’s way.
She put up another post with a really long caption explaining why she took down her former post. According to her, she got sidetracked by some “silly ish” and in reality, doesn’t care.
“I caught feelings, I’m now about to catch a flight’ and ‘face my work”, she wrote.
