April 29, (THEWILL) – Sheffield United’s recent promotion back to the Premier League is starting to sink in for the team’s coach, Paul Heckingbottom, after their triumph over Preston at Bramall Lane.

Despite securing their promotion in the previous match, the Blades did not ease off and crushed Preston with a 4-1 victory. Anel Ahmedhodzic scored the opener, which was cancelled out by Liam Delap, but John Fleck, Iliman Ndiaye, and Oliver McBurnie secured the win for Sheffield.

Heckingbottom was delighted with his team’s performance and expressed his excitement, saying: “The promotion is finally starting to sink in now. After the semi-final at Wembley, I saw a lot of fans and I said I just wanted everyone to enjoy themselves and the same went for today.”
