November 15, (THEWILL) – Italian tennis sensation, Jannik Sinner, maintained his perfect record at the ATP Finals in Turin, defeating Daniil Medvedev 6-3 6-4.
The victory eliminated the Russian competitor while confirming Sinner’s position at the summit of the Ilie Nastase Group.
The world number one had previously guaranteed his semi-final position following Alex De Minaur’s performance against Taylor Fritz earlier in the day.
Sinner, performing in front of his home crowd, delivered another commanding display, extending his recent dominance over Medvedev to eight victories in their past nine encounters.

The Russian athlete’s frustration became evident in his post-match comments, where he rated his season “zero out of 10” when evaluating his performance against his objectives, noting his struggle throughout the year in both practices and matches.
The tournament continues on Friday with Carlos Alcaraz facing Alexander Zverev in a crucial match from the John Newcombe Group.
Alcaraz, who holds both the Wimbledon and French Open titles, currently occupies the third position in his group and must win to maintain his chances of progression.
