Sancho/Guehi/Rashford

March 17, (THEWILL) – Gareth Southgate has chosen his updated 25-man team for England’s upcoming international friendlies against Switzerland and the Ivory Coast later this month.

While Arsenal had their young players Emile Smith-Rowe and Bukayo Saka, with goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale represented, Jadon Sancho has been left out of the Three Lions squad, as has club-mate Marcus Rashford, despite Rashford’s recent return to form for Manchester United,

As Southgate weighs his choices and looks ahead to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi has been called up for the first time at international level in recognition of his club form.
