November 13, (THEWILL) – Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Rodrigo Bentancur, is set to miss a significant number of games after the England Football Association (FA) found him guilty of making racist comments about his teammate Son Heung-Min.
The incident occurred in September, when Bentancur reportedly suggested that Son and his cousins “all look the same.” The 27-year-old Uruguayan quickly apologised, claiming it was a “very bad joke,” but the FA has now determined that he is guilty of the offence.
