June 15, (THEWILL) – Tottenham Hotspur have officially announced the departures of Clement Lenglet and Arnaut Danjuma, marking the end of their loan spells with the north London club.
Lenglet, a talented defender from France, joined Spurs last summer from Barcelona, and throughout the season, he featured in 35 appearances across various competitions, finding the back of the net once. Meanwhile, Netherlands forward, Danjuma, arrived in January from Villarreal, but his time on the pitch was limited to a solitary start in a total of 12 outings.
Lucas Moura, the Brazilian forward, is another player set to bid farewell to the English Premier League club this summer, as his contract comes to an end. Moura, who featured in 221 matches for Tottenham, left an indelible mark with his 39 goals, notably his memorable hat-trick against Ajax in the 2019 UEFA Champions League semifinals, which propelled the team to the final.
In a statement published on Spurs’ official website, the club expressed their gratitude to all three departing players, stating: “We thank all three players for their service and wish them well for the future.”
