109 films from 27 filmmakers across 36 countries will be featuring in this year’s festival.
The festival started with a documentary ‘Kiss the Future’, which follows the story of an underground community that lived through a nearly four-year-long siege.
The festival will close with the screening of Robert De Niro’s directorial debut, ‘A Bronx Tale’.
Tribeca was founded by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff 21 years ago.
Speaking at the 2023 edition of the festival, Linus revealed that she has had a great experience so far.
“I am having a great time reviewing the shortlisted films and recommending winners for the 2023 Tribeca Festival.
“It is such an exciting festival with many voices amplified, especially women’s voices. It has given a platform for both new and seasoned filmmakers to showcase their works,” she stated.
