BEVERLY HILLS, May 24, (THEWILL) – The wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha has identified the support of Nigerian women as the “driving force” for her husband.
The Director of Information, Suleiman Haruna, in the office of the president’s wife, issued a statement on Wednesday which quotes Aisha as stating this in Yola, Adamawa state, while distributing food items to women organisations.
The president’s wife, who lauded the support of the women towards her and the president, promised not to let them down.
She also commended women for their prayers over her husband’s improved health.
Aisha was quoted as saying, “I am deeply appreciative of the support that you show to us at every turn and promise that I will never let you down.
“Today’s event, which is the distribution of food items, is a symbolic gesture and a token of my appreciation. It is meant to confirm that I have not forgotten you, and never will.”
