June 29, (THEWILL) – The Edo State Police Command has announced the arrest of the suspected killer of Glory Adekolure, a graduate of the University of Benin (UNIBEN).
Adekolure had reportedly gone to UNIBEN for her final clearance on June 13, 2024, but her remains were found under a tree on a street in the Iyowa Community of Benin City, the Edo State capital.
Fifteen days after her death, the police, on Friday, said that the suspect had been arrested in Delta State.
Edo Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adegboye, said the suspected murderer was arrested in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
While investigation into the incident is still ongoing, the Commissioner said the suspect confessed to the killing of at least seven other young women.
