February 01, (THEWILL) – A transportation company, Swift Trip Limited has carried out a sensitisation outreach on the Ebonyi state populace on decentralised mobility and commerce provision business.
The Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Hon. Richards Nnadi, said during the outreach on Wednesday, in Abakaliki, that the decentralisation is on a blockchain.
Richards said that the firm is part of the companies coming together to build a blockchain that is not a transfer of Bitcoin, or other forms of financial transfers.
The CEO noted that the mobility propagated by the company is on air and road transportation with the former involving scaling globally through airports.
“In road transportation, we don’t need to own a vehicle but just like an UBER, connecting passengers with drivers.
“Worldwide, everyone’s vehicle is ours, but we are going farther with the strategy to launch 500 cars.
“The shareholders will pick cars that qualify their guarantors, ensuring the vehicles to guard against fraudulent debt cases.
“The drivers are not expected to make use of swift trips when they have not understood what we built for them.”
He noted that the firm needs 2.4 million shareholders or co-founders who are first-hand customers.
“We are not struggling for customers but need drivers in place to service the customers.
“We also engage in E-commerce which provides an online space for transportation.
“It is pertinent to note that once one buys at the online space, the next challenge is how to deliver the item to the person who bought it.”
Richards noted that customers do not need courier services but just a button to click on the Swift trip aspect and book delivery.
