July 26, (THEWILL) – Temilade Openiyi, aka Tems’ 2020 single, Free Mind, has made Billboard Hot 100 list.
In a tweet by Billboard on Monday, it was stated that the song made number 90 on its latest Hot 100 chart.
The song was released in 2020, as one of the tracks out of her album, For Broken Ear, which has a seven track extended play.
This development makes her the second Nigerian artiste to debut on Billboard Hot 100 on four occasions alongside Wizkid.
In May, she was the first African singer to make number one on the chart for her role in Future’s song, where he featured Drake.
Tems has been enjoying massive International music landscape recognition since featuring in Wizkid’s song, Essence.
