There are allegations in some quarters that the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had planned to induce voters.

In a post on his Twitter page, the Davido Music Worldwide boss, claimed people are rejecting being induced at the polling units across the state.

He, however, did not mention any area where people rejected money or the political party responsible for the inducement.

The musician said the development shows there is still hope for Nigeria.

“People rejecting money being offered to them left and right of the state today … great to see … there is stilll hope for Nigeria,” he wrote.

Davido has been in the news over his support for Ademola Adeleke, his uncle, who is the governorship candidate of the PDP in the election.
