July 25, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu, on Thursday, met with some State Governors at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The Governors, who arrived at the Villa in a single Coaster bus at about 1.20pm, include the Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF) and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, and his counterparts from Kebbi, Kaduna, Benue, Jigawa, Ekiti and Ondo, as well as the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State among others.
Although the agenda of the meeting has not been made public, THEWILL, however, gathered that it may not be unconnected with plans to avert the planned nationwide protest against economic hardship as well as the recent increase in the national minimum wage from N30,000 to N70,000.
