September 21, (THEWILL) – Fashion designer, Tom Ford’s husband, Richard Buckley is dead at the age of 72.
Buckley died of “natural causes” after 35 years of marriage.
His death was announced by Ford’s team in a statement.
The statement partly read: “It’s with great sadness that Tom Ford announces the death of his beloved husband of 35 years, Richard Buckley.
“Richard passed away peacefully at their home in Los Angeles with Tom and their son Jack by his side.”
THEWILL writes that the couple began dating in 1986 after they met at a fashion show.
The couple got married after 28 years together in 2014 after same-sex marriage was legalised in the United States.
