May 19, (THEWILL) – Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly held initial talks with Feyenoord Head Coach, Arne Slot, as they continue their search for a new permanent manager.
Spurs are on the hunt for a successor to Antonio Conte, who left the club by mutual consent at the end of March. Ryan Mason has been in caretaker charge since then, but the club is looking to appoint a long-term manager ahead of the 2023/2024 season.
The 44-year-old Slot has been in charge of Feyenoord since 2020 and has led the club to the Eredivisie title this season. He is also known for his attractive style of play, which has drawn comparisons to former Spurs Manager, Mauricio Pochettino.
It is understood that Tottenham are not the only club interested in Slot, with Everton and Borussia Dortmund also reportedly monitoring his situation.
