BEVERLY HILLS, January 14, (THEWILL) – Troops of the Nigerian Army were on time to detonate explosives buried by Boko Haram insurgents along a major road in Borno State.
The troops of the 222 Batallion in Konduga were timely enough to avert an unsavoury situation.
A statement by the Army headquarters revealed that the Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were detonated at about 1 p.m on Sunday, 13th January.
The detonation happened during a clearance patrol with the IED Scanning Team, operating along Konduga-Aulari Road.
The Nigerian Army’s troops in different battalions have earned positive results in their bid to make Nigeria, and the North East more peaceful, with this, being yet another impressive feat from the nation’s military.
