June 01, (THEWILL) – Igor Tudor’s exit from his position as Marseille coach has set off signals at Juventus, who are now considering him as a possible candidate to replace their current manager, Massimiliano Allegri.

Tudor made the announcement during a press conference on Thursday just before Marseille’s final game of the Ligue 1 season.

Expressing his gratitude, Tudor said: “Working for this club, alongside such dedicated supporters, has been an immense honour. Personally, I have grown during my time here, and I leave the club in a far better state than when I arrived.” He added: “A single season at this club is equivalent to two or three seasons elsewhere.”

Juventus have taken notice of Tudor’s departure and are now actively evaluating him for a place at the Turin-based side. Discussions between the Italian giants and Allegri are scheduled to take place following their final Serie A match against Udinese at the Dacia Arena. The outcome of that meeting will influence their decision on Tudor.
