October 11, (THEWILL) – According to jail records, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) superstar Chuck Liddell is currently incarcerated in Los Angeles with a $20,000 bail. According to TMZ, the fighter was detained early on Monday on a domestic abuse complaint.
Liddell was booked into the Lost Hills Sheriff Station following an arrest for misdemeanour domestic battery in Hidden Hills, Calif., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s public information department.
Around midnight on October 11, Lost Hills deputies were dispatched to the 24000 block of Jim Bridger Road in Hidden Hills in response to a family disturbance call. Liddell and his wife were involved in a physical altercation, according to deputies, and the former UFC light heavyweight champion was detained as a result.
Liddell was arrested at 1:56 a.m. on Monday, according to the records. The fighter is being jailed at the Lost Hills Sheriff Station and is scheduled to appear in Los Angeles’ Van Nuys Court on Wednesday.
