Usain Bolt and his partner, Kasi Bennett

June 21, (THEWILL)- Social media is abuzz with the revelation of the names that legendary Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt and his partner, Kasi Bennett, have given the set of twin boys the couple welcomed into their family.

On Father’s Day, the now retired sprinter announced that his family had grown with the coming of newborn boys joining their elder sister, who is fittingly named Olympia Lightning Bolt. What caught the attention of many who came across the post on the picture-sharing social media platform Instagram were the names the boys were given.

In the caption of the beautiful picture of Bolt, Kasi and the three kids were the names: Saint Leo Bolt and Thunder Bolt, with the lightning bolt emoji next to each of his children’s names.

Sharing the love for their children as well, Kasi made an Instagram video which she posted on the platform from her own account on Sunday to celebrate Bolt with the message: “Happy Father’s Day to the greatest man and dad,” which she finished off with: “Love, Kasi, Olympia, Saint Leo and Thunder Bolt.”

In another Instagram post, she included the words: “You are the rock of this family and the greatest daddy to our little ones. We love you world without end!”

Bolt is the fastest athlete in the 100m sprint with his 9.58 seconds finish still the world record of the distance. It earned him the title of the fastest man in the world, the nickname “Lightning Bolt” and an eponymic movie. It is a name he has now bestowed on the next generation of Bolts.

The iconic Jamaican track and field champion retired in 2017 after a career that boasted eight Olympic gold medals, and 23 total golds in major competitions and the upcoming Tokyo Olympics will be the first Games since 2000 that will not have the Bolt name called out for the sprints.

THEWILL recalls that Usain and Bennett announced the birth of their daughter last year, also on Instagram, with a series of photos of Olympia Lightning to celebrate Bennett’s birthday in July.

At that time, Bolt wrote: “We have started a new chapter together with our daughter Olympia Lightning Bolt I look forward to what the future will bring for us but be reassured that I will be the ROCK for this family.”
