December 16, (THEWILL) – Ernest Obi, a Nigerian actor and filmmaker, has opened up about how he went naked in the filming of his movie, ’Till Death’, about two decades ago.
Obi disclosed this on his Instagram page as he reflected on the production of the film in which he played the daring role of a psychotic young man.
According to the actor turned producer, he produced, wrote, and directed the movie which was released in the 1990s.
“Till death. Wrote, produced and directed this in the early/mid-90s. I remember running stark naked on the streets of Festac for this movie. The poster itself…hmmm. Way ahead of the period,” he wrote.
The movie featured several Nollywood giants like Pete Edochie, Ejike Asiegbu, Charles Okafor, and Joan Stephens.
Obi hails from Anambra state and he came into the limelight after he featured in ‘Glamour Girls’, a 1994 movie, wherein he played the role of a lover boy who is fond of cooking and washing his wife’s underwear.
