June 28, (THEWILL) – Precious Chikwendu, estranged wife of former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has given an update on the custody battle with her former husband.
She took to Instagram to pen an appreciation note to those who stood by her during her travail and court cases.
She wrote, “To everyone who shed a tear or two, to everyone who believed in me, to everyone who couldn’t sleep without thinking of me.
“Words fail me. It isn’t perfect yet, but it is beautiful.
“We are negotiating terms for shared custody and end all pending cases. Hopefully soon.
“Beautiful to be at peace with God, myself and others.
“Beautiful to kiss my boys once again, look into their eyes and make them giggle in pride, have Ikenna flash his gap tooth in excitement.
“Jidenna to try and bully me with his size. My Tobenna kiss me like he always does with so much admiration and love, making me feel like chocolate in the hands of my kids.
“My Lotanna leading and playing fixer or conflict resolver, using the wisdom of King Solomon.
“Beautiful because I also got to the point where I could sit with their father for hours, speak about the past two years, have intense argument and disagreement, but still have a closure without bitterness, resolving to forge on separately.
“I can’t thank you all enough. Mentioning names would be shooting myself in the leg, but will be reaching out individually.”
