April 11, (THEWILL) — Braces from Konstantinos Mavropanos and Taty Castellanos propelled West Ham United to a 4-0 demolition of Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium, lifting the Hammers out of the English Premier League relegation zone at the expense of Tottenham Hotspur.

Mavropanos completed the rout late on with an acrobatic volley from Bowen’s corner, capping a dominant display that moved West Ham a point clear of the drop zone.
The result ends a run of misery for Graham Potter’s side and puts their survival bid firmly back on track with several matches remaining.
For Wolves, the picture is bleak. Nuno Espírito Santo’s side have now gone 16 away matches without a win this season, collecting only five draws from those outings.
Relegation to the Championship could be confirmed as early as next weekend if results continue to go against them.
