April 02, (THEWILL) – West Ham United earned a crucial victory in a relegation scrap against Southampton with a 1-0 win that saw them climb out of the English Premier League bottom three.
The Hammers dominated the game from the start, with Moroccan defender, Nayef Aguerd, scoring the only goal of the game midway through the first half via a spectacular header. However, the goal was initially disallowed, and it took over three minutes for VAR to confirm the decision.
